The influence of ancient Egyptian architecture and construction (which dates back to five thousands years before Christ) is widely recognized. The Arabic Republic of Egypt contains many ancient temples, pyramids tombs, buildings, monuments and buildings that lie along the Egyptian Nile. The Arabic Republic of Ancient Egypt will be the focus of this literature review. The three Pyramids of Giza, Temples of Luxor & Karnak are some of the most famous architectural structures.

Materials: Despite the fact that Egypt was lacking in building materials before, its builders still managed to construct the most important buildings with the smallest materials. Mud was Stone, Mortar, Mortar and wood were the main materials used. However, because of the scarcity on wood, Sunbaked Bricks were also used. The brick is made with mud. Loamy Nile clay is made strong by mixing it with straw. The limestone can be easily shaped and is fairly soft. Granite, on the other hand, is much harder than limestone. It was actually used to cover Giza’s great Pyramids. Bricks and stones were used in the old Egypt kingdom. The stones were used by the temples as well as the tombs. The bricks were used by the royal palaces, the wall surrounding the temples, and complexes for temples. The mortar is made up of a mix of gypsum, limestone and some other ingredients. The mortar was used for shutters, doors, pillars, beams, and a small amount of limestone.

Giza Pyramids:

Egypt’s most famous architectural pyramid is Khufu. There are three pyramids in Cairo and Giza. Khufu is Egypt’s fourth-dynasty pharaoh Khufu’s tallest and most ancient pyramid. Khafre which belonged to the fourth-dynasty Egyptian Pharaoh Khafre ranks second. Menkaura, a fourth-dynasty Egyptian Pharaoh Menkaura member, is the smallest. It is 65.5 meters high and the highest pyramid Khufu. You can see the base and the entire pyramid covered in stone. Khafra pyramid’s base measures 214 meters in height and is 136.4 meters high. The slope is 53 degrees in elevation and 13 feet at an angle. The base of the pyramid measures 10 meters and is made from limestone. The Menkaura smallest pyramid stands at 65.5 meters tall and is supported by a base measuring 108.5 meters. The slope is 51В° 20′ 25″. It is made of limestone and granite.

The Karnak temple:

Karnak Temple can be described as one of Egypt’s most famous temples. It is located at Luxor’s eastern end, and it is aligned to the Egyptian Nile. The main temple of Karnak contains three main areas. The first, Montu, is a local fighter. The chief god of Thebes, Amun, is named Amun. The Amun’s second wife is Mut. Their son Khonsu is also named Amun. The Karnak temple was built during the middle Kingdom and finished during the New Kingdom. Any new king after this thousand years must make something new in that temple. The temple is spread over five acres, with 10 pylons. It also includes a lake and four courtyards. The entrance of the first pylon can be found by the alignment of the sphinxes. Between their paws is a small Ramses II figure.

The Luxor Temple, located in Egypt, is an ancient complex that was part of the Theban Necropolis. It was built during the reign of Amenhotep III and Ramses II, and is considered to be one of the most remarkable monuments of ancient Egypt.

Luxor temple is Egypt’s second most well-known temple. It is located approximately one mile south from Karnak Temple. The Luxor and Karnak temples are connected by two rows of stone-made humanheaded sphinxes. These rows are visible today from the main entrance to Luxor temple. Construction began on the temple in 1380 Prior to Christ during the New Kingdom. Tutankhamun, Horemheb and Akhenaten added details to the temple’s construction. They also added columns, statues and a shrine. Ramses II created a courtyard with a gateway and built it after one hundred year. This unique feature is not found in the Karnak shrine.
